A.R. Rahman - Wins The Golden Globe Awards
I take this moment to salute this man A.R. Rahman. When he started out years ago composing the music for the movie Roja, nobody could have guessed what this man is capable of. He planted his mark with his first venture itself by winning the Tamil Nadu State Award For Best Music Direction - Roja. From then onwards it was all uphill for him as he composed songs after songs all hitting the top of the charts. He went on to win many more awards like Zee Cine Awards, National Film Awards, MTV Awards, FilmFare Awards, Kalaimamani Award and the list just goes on and on. In total, his awards goes past the figure 80. But to top this all, he just did all the Indians proud by winning the Golden Globe award for Slumdog Millionaire. This guy went on to show his talents in overseas and actually won such a prestigious award. He was praised and congratulated by lots of celebrities like ShahRukh Khan, Amir Khan and S J Suriya to name a few. To be the first ever Indain music composer to put his name on that board is for sure a great deal. This 43 year olds service to the music indutry is truly applausable and we can expect more greatness from this man in the future too. Runtime: 2m:7s

Kamal Haasan (Tamil: �மல�ஹா�ன�) (born on November 7, 1954) is an Indian film actor. He began his career as a child artist in many films, while also attending a theatre for stage plays, to follow his dream to act. Kamal Haasan gained the Indian cinema's attention in 1960 by playing an Award-winning role in his first blockbuster, Kalathur Kannamma and since then he has acted in over two hundred Indian films. Kamal Haasan has acted in several various character roles winning four Indian National Film Awards for his criticallly acclaimed acting. An accomplished dramatic actor and celebrity, he received India's third highest civilian honour, the Padma Shri for his services to Indian cinema in 1990. Kamal Haasan performs predominantly in leading roles in high-budget and major studio films, ranging from romantic comedies and drama to action thrillers. His most popular films include Moondram Pirai (1982), Saagara Sangamam (1983), Nayagan (1987), Indian (1996) and Hey Ram (2000).
